A drop Of Blood, hopes for life! 
A blood donation camp was organized at VIBGYOR
High, Kolhapur on 1st February 2014.Where teachers, admin, and
ancillary staff voluntarily donated blood. The camp was organized by VIBGYOR
HIGH in association with "Arpana Blood Bank" in
the School campus under the supervision of Doctor along with four supporting
staff.
51 units of blood collected would go to the blood Bank. This blood donation camp was organized under the aegis of the Social Welfare of VIBGYOR High. Prior to the camp, staff members were apprised of the benefits related to blood donation by the Volunteers of Arpana Blood Bank.

According to the information presented on the
occasion, only 50percent of the country's blood requirement is fulfilled
through such blood donation camps. Hence, there is a need to create awareness
amongst our youth for active participation in such a noble cause. On this
occasion, along with all
teachers, admin & ancillary Staff were present. Camp got a very good repose
under the kind Support & supervision of our esteemed Principal Mr. T.
Balan.
